This trip evolved from an idea I believe originated from Roger when he reminded us that we didn't get together often enough and Dad's 90th birthday was approaching in October 2003. He openly wondered if maybe we shouldn't use the occasion to surprise Dad. Unfortunately, Peter was unable to join us but Roger, Wayne, and I were glad we didn't miss the opportunity - especially in light of the fact Dad passed away only months later in January.
